FAQ

When might I feel an effect?
Some people notice appetite changes early, but the pace of weight change varies. We track progress and adjust dose as needed.
Any side effects?
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea/constipation, abdominal pain, and injection-site reactions may occur. If you experience severe pain or sudden illness, stop and seek care.
Can I take it with other medicines?
Some medicines (e.g., for diabetes) require caution due to hypoglycemia risk. Please disclose all meds/supplements in advance; physicians will ensure safe co-use.
Where can I inject?
Abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Avoid injecting the exact same spot; rotate a few centimeters each time.
How many doses are in one pen?
A 2 mg multi-dose pen provides four doses at 0.5 mg per week. The number of doses and duration depend on the dose prescribed by your doctor; 2 mg is the total pen content, not the weekly dose.
Can I purchase like online shopping?
Yes, after an online consultation. Once payment is completed, we deliver to your home. No visit to the clinic is required.
Do I need a Japanese address or residence card?
No. Hotel, Airbnb, or short-term rental addresses are accepted. Please provide check-in date, hotel/room name, and phone number when ordering. A Japanese residence card is not required.
Can I use a foreign credit card?
Yes. We accept VISA, Mastercard, JCB, and American Express from any country. Notify your bank in advance if international purchases are blocked. Bank transfer is also available for larger orders.
Can you ship to my hotel or Airbnb?
Yes. Please share your check-in date, hotel/accommodation name, and room number in advance. We time the cold-chain delivery to arrive during your stay. Front desk signature required for refrigerated items.
Can I consult before arriving in Japan?
Phone consultation before arrival in Japan is available. We recommend completing consultation and payment at least 7 days before your desired delivery date. Confirm in advance that your accommodation can receive and refrigerate the delivery. Short-notice arrangements require individual confirmation.
I do not have a Japanese phone number. How can I have the consultation?
We can conduct the consultation via LINE call, international phone, or your hotel phone. Please let us know your preferred method when booking.
Can my family or friend in Japan receive the delivery on my behalf?
Yes. You can specify any Japan address as the delivery destination, including a family member home, a friend home, or a workplace. Please provide the delivery address and the recipient name when ordering.
Can I get an English Doctor Letter for customs?
A printed medical receipt is included with your medicine free of charge. Acceptance depends on the authority requesting the document; neither a receipt nor a formal letter guarantees entry or medicine-import permission. A formal English letter (with doctor name and prescription details) is available at ¥5,000. Please request when booking or during consultation.
Can I order several months of supply at once?
Yes, as long as the medicine can be used within its expiration date. Up to about 1 year of supply is a general guideline. Our doctor will confirm medical appropriateness during the consultation.
Can I use this during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding is generally not recommended. If you are planning pregnancy or become aware of pregnancy, stop using and consult a doctor. Animal studies have reported effects on fetal development.
What should I do if I miss a dose?
If at least 48 hours remain before your next scheduled dose, take the missed dose when you remember, then resume your usual weekly schedule. If less than 48 hours remain, skip the missed dose. Do not take two doses together. Ask the clinic if you are unsure.
What if side effects are strong?
Nausea is more common at initiation and during dose increases. Drinking water frequently and avoiding fatty foods can help. Symptoms may improve over time, but the duration varies. Persistent vomiting, inability to drink, or severe abdominal pain require prompt medical advice. If symptoms are severe, we can slow the titration pace or reduce the dose. Please discuss with the doctor at consultation.
How is Ozempic different from Wegovy and Mounjaro?
Ozempic contains semaglutide and is approved in Japan for type 2 diabetes, with a maximum weekly dose of 1.0 mg. Wegovy also contains semaglutide but is approved for obesity under specific conditions. Mounjaro contains tirzepatide, a GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist approved for type 2 diabetes in Japan. Ozempic use for weight management is off-label.
What dose is available?
We provide the Ozempic 2 mg multi-dose pen. This is the total content of the pen, not a 2 mg weekly dose. Your doctor specifies the dose and schedule.
Is Ozempic effective for weight loss?
Weight change depends on dose, treatment duration and the patient population. Ozempic is approved for type 2 diabetes in Japan; its use for weight management is off-label. Results from higher-dose obesity trials should not be used to predict an Ozempic result.
How soon will I see results?
The pace of weight change varies. The STEP-1 result of approximately 15% weight loss at 68 weeks studied semaglutide 2.4 mg (the obesity-treatment dose used for Wegovy), not the Ozempic regimen offered here. It should not be read as an expected Ozempic result. We monitor your progress individually.
